*TOUGH TALK ALERT*
Walking with Christ is not a game. You cannot dabble in your faith as it fits your plans. As we read our Bible, we learn that God is faithful to His word. What does that mean? It means that when He commands us to do something, we do not have the option to not obey without consequences. In Christ, our opinion doesn’t matter. The idea that we get to argue or negotiate with God like we argue and negotiate with people is how so many “Christians” lose their way. Like the prophet Isaiah wrote, Gods ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Instead of trying to do things your way, because in your opinion it’s better, do things God’s way and watch how He works out everything for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Hebrews 3:16-19 16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief. Today’s Reading: Hebrews 3
