Continuing yesterday’s “theme” we read in this passage how our heart posture should be when we give. We should give out of a joy in our hearts. Appreciative of what God has freely given to us. This is what God wants from us. But be careful or you may find yourself withholding from God because you say, “I don’t feel like giving and God wants me to give cheerfully.” Never forget, with God, there is always a blessing attached to cheerful giving. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. Today’s Reading: 2 Corinthians 9
