God's Sovereignty

I love how 1 John 3:16 is similar to John 3:16. Since the numbering system came way later, I am certain that John did not purposefully do this. However, with God nothing is a coincidence. Here's today's Bible verse. Enjoy.

1 John 3:16

16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
