Honor God And He Will Honor You

At the end of the 2023 Miss Florida competition, I had an opportunity to talk to one of the young ladies who was disappointed in the final result. I reminded her that she had honored God throughout this competition. I told her that because she honored Him, God would certainly honor her for that. 

This passage gives the hope that God spoke through me to that young lady. God will remember your good works done for Him in Jesus’ name. Therefore, seek to honor God daily with your words and deeds. However, say nothing about them. He will reward you in His time. If you seek man’s approval for your life, you may get it, but then you will not get God’s. Do all good things in secret, “and your Father who sees in secret will reward you” (Mt 6:4b). Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. 

Hebrews 6:10-12

10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
