I love passages like this in the Bible. It gives us opportunity to learn more about the essence of who Christ is. Additionally, we see Him throughout the Bible.
I encourage you to spend a little time thinking about how God has set everything in place for you to enter into a right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. Once you begin to fathom just how wide and long and high and deep the Father’s love is for you I pray you will begin to share His love with others. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy. Hebrews 7:1-3 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, 2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever. Today’s Reading: Hebrews 7:1-10
