Sincere Love For Others

I love this passage. The focus is the love of someone other than ourselves. Paul is talking about a man, presumably from Philippi. The man was ill, but had gotten better. Paul shares how bad he felt for the man. This is the type of care we should have for people. This is the type of care Jesus had for us. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

Philippians 2:29-30

29 So then, welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him, 30 because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to make up for the help you yourselves could not give me.
