Homework Time:

Take some time and dive into this passage. You will learn much. In many church congregations today, people believe this passage is saying women cannot teach or preach in the church. If this is true, then how do we reconcile Paul’s words in chapter 11 of this same book where he says women can pray and prophecy in the church.

If you want to be able to share Christ well, this topic is one you must be comfortable with. Many non-believers use this passage as an excuse not to follow Christ. They have not done their homework. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

1 Corinthians 14:34-35

34 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.
