With Closeness Comes Discernment

The closer you draw to Christ, the more responsible you become to discern well the guiding of the Holy Spirit. In yesterday’s Word Wednesday ( https://open.spotify.com/episode/3AoGjtnz5c6oqeFyZcSpoJ?si=2T6_Hg04QS68mSY5P-N1MQ ) I explained to our listeners that God is looking for warriors. This is because we are involved in a spiritual war.

When we follow false teachers, we lead others away from Christ. God has warned us about false teachers. Let’s not consider it a fantasy. Stay connected to the Father through the Holy Spirit so you can easily identify when something is not right. Here’s today’s Bible verse. Enjoy.

2 Corinthians 11:12-15

12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.
